Physical therapists (PTs) who work with patients who have movement issues as a result of neurological disorders or injuries are known as neuro-rehabilitation specialists. Their mission is to promote healing, reduce functional deficits, and/or compensate for any remaining impairments. Neurological insult or injury, in contrast to orthopaedic injuries, can cause global or complete body functional impairments. A neurologic physical therapist must be able to conduct a thorough clinical examination that takes into account the patient's subjective reports, past medical history, gait, strength, range of motion, muscle tone, coordination, vision, vestibular, proprioceptive, posture, deep tendon reflexes, sensation, and safety awareness. A loss of range of motion or function, muscle weakness, impaired balance, and stamina are common symptoms of neurological diseases that many patients deal with and can have a significant impact on everyday activities. Using a variety of exercises and activities, neurological physiotherapy stimulates the neural system with the goal of enhancing strength, mobility, balance, and coordination. In addition to assisting patients with mobility-related diseases, neurological physiotherapy also helps them achieve a more positive outlook and sense of control over their situations by enhancing their general quality of life
